While many of the people living at the lake in the summer are seasoned and familiar with all the best places to go, there are several new spots that shouldn't be passed up. Whether it be a bar, restaurant or hotel, it's always refreshing when something new comes along. Here are a few places worth visiting:

Port Arrowhead

The Lodge at Port Arrowhead recently underwent some major renovations and is definitely worth checking out. There is a new bar, accompanied by updated pool and playground perfect for the whole family.

Popeyz at Pier 31

Pier 31 is now home to a new restaurant, Popeyz, which will have a unique menu featuring Mediterranean items as well as more traditional items like pizza and burgers. The outdoor space, live music and friendly staff all contribute to the wonderful atmosphere.

Second Story Ale House

This new addition to the Bagnell Dam Strip is great for beer lovers, as it features nearly 50 beers. It's also a full operating restaurant with great menu items to pair with your beer of choice!
